Terms & Conditions that apply to the sale and supply of goods from Chair Business.

Pricing

All prices on our website www.chairbusiness.ie are displayed exclusive of Value Added Tax. The Vat amount will be visible when you enter the shopping cart/checkout.

The rate of VAT charged will be that ruling in Ireland at the date of the invoice. The current VAT rate in Ireland is 23%. Irish VAT will only be waived when customers in the European Union ("EU") can provide their VAT identification number along with proof that the merchandise is being exported to an EC member state.

Payments that are made on this website are made through our secure payment provider Paypal. We do not store credit card information. Please note you do not need to have a Paypal account in order to proceed with transactions, you can pay with debit cards and all major credit cards simply by clicking the pay by debit or credit card when you reach the payment page.

Products may be withdrawn for sale from this website at any stage without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification, before or after a sale if a pricing error has occured. All prices on this website are in Euro, and that is what will be deducted from your debit/credit card. If you are purchasing using a non-Euro credit card (e.g. sterling) the exchange rate is applied by your bank and not by Chair Business. 

Placing an Order

You can place an order with us here online through the website, by sending us an email or by calling our sales team on 01 8991010. Once an order has been placed, we will send you an email confirming the goods ordered and payment information. Order will only commence when agreed payment has been received.

Once payment is received, your order will commence and you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

If you are paying by cheque, the cheque must be cleared in order for your order to commence.

 

Delivery

Free Shipping for orders over €500 ex vat (€615 inc vat). For orders below this amount there is a standard rate of €10.00 ex vat (€12.30 inc vat) per order throughout the Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Large items such as benches and sofa's may incur a surcharge.

For UK and International customers, contact us for shipping prices.

In stock items are dispatched within 2 working days.

Where a product states next day delivery, the order must be placed before 12 noon, for orders placed on a Friday before 12 noon, delivery willl be on the following Monday, after 12 noon on Friday delivery will be the following Tuesday.

Delivery times can vary according to products, our standard delivery times is 2 to 6 weeks, in some case this may take longer, contact our sales team for specific delivery times.

It is your responsibility to take in the delivery once the goods have been delivered to your premises.

Delivery is based on delivery to ground floor area, delivery to multi storey locations may incur extra costs.

We will always keep you informed on the date of your delivery, and will call or email you 24 Hours before delivery to confirm.

If you agree to a delivery date and there is nobody available to take in the delivery when we arrive, we reserve the right to charge you for this.

Where certain goods require to be assembled, we offer an on-site assembly service, contact us for pricing. 

Collection

If you decide to collect or have your goods collected by a third party, that can be arranged. However if there is any damage to the goods during loading and after they have left our premises Chair Business will not be held responsible. 

Wood Finishes, Upholstery, Images and Dimensions

All images and dimensions and product information provided is as close as possible to each product, however there may be some slight differences in colours and dimensions. We realise that it can be hard to view fabrics and wood finishes online and fabric and wood colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings. If you require to see samples of actual products, wood colours or fabrics, you can visit our showroom to view, or we can post you some samples, alternatively we can come to your place of business if this is possible for us.

Naturally there are variations in timber grains, shades and/or colours of wood products, in particular where surfaces are veneered with natural timbers, this shall not be regarded as a fault and no claims will be entertained in respect of it. 

Returns

You have 7 days from the date of receiving the goods to request a return or exchange. Goods returned will only be accepted if they are in their original packaging, unused, unassembled and in a resale-able condition. Custom made goods will not be accepted as returns unless there is a fault in the products in which case we will repair or replace the products. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of Chair Business receiving the returns back.

Cancellations 

Cancellations of orders must be submitted in writing via mail or email. Chair Business will charge a 25% handling fee of the deposit paid. For custom made products we will not issue any refund for cancellations on orders where deposits has been paid.

Faulty Goods 

In the unlikely event, where you find your goods to be faulty, please contact us within 10 days of receiving the goods, and we will assist you in every way we can to rectify the problem.

We will request goods to be sent back for inspection, or if it is possible for us we will visit your premises to inspect.

If it is agreed by Chair Business that the product has a manufacturing fault, we will replace the item/s.

Complaints

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and the supply of high quality products, with these two properties of our business, we are keeping our customers very happy, however should you have a complaint with our service and/or products, we want to know, please call us, email or write to us. We promise that your complaint will be taken very seriously and a member of management will deal with it as quickly as possible. We promise to do our upmost to rectify any complaints you may have with our business.

Registration

To sign up for newsletters, discount codes, and any special offers we may have, please register on our website. We will send you information via email from time to time with special offers etc. If you wish to opt out of this, you should reply in an email stating, opt out and we will not send you any more emails.

Privacy Policy

Chair Business is committed to a responsible privacy policy, to complying with the Data Protection Act 1988 and all other applicable legislation governing privacy.

Our Privacy policy sets out our policies of the management of personal information, why we use this information, and who this information is disclosed to.

Information is only gathered when you send it to us in relation to an enquiry, an order or quotation or if you register on our website.

When using our website, a cookie is placed on your computer. A cookie is a text file that records when items are added to cart or enquiry. It will keep your cart intact for 30 minutes, should you leave the site or not process your cart, after this time then the contents of the cart are deleted.

We will only disclose your information to third party service providers for credit card authorisation and to delivery companies, strictly for delivery purposes.

We may change our privacy policy from time to time, and it will always be available on this website.
